Oslo was our first stop during our Scandinavian trip. We planned it to be the first, as we thought there won't be much to see given its size.

However, this city surprised us with it modernity. If future city has a prototype, it must look like the Barcode Project in Oslo.

The Barcode Project consists of a row of high-rise buildings that were newly completed. We went into this stunning group of architecture on our way to the Opera House, and couldn't help but stop for a long admiration.

Each building is long, slender and futurist. They all have distinctive styles yet come together quite well with ultra modernity and witty humor. Oslo is probably the best place to work in as architect, who can make something both crazy and functional.

Nordic people are said to consume the most ice cream. When we got here, we were convinced and saw Ice cream sold everywhere.

We also loved the Nordic chained store Joe & the Juice. You must try its wrap and juice, both freshly made and have layers of taste.
