Very often in Hell's Kitchen, we were overwhelmed by the selection of restaurants and had a hard time committing to one. Hence, a food court sounds like a good idea. Hidden on a 2nd floor in the very touristic theater district and port authority hub, City Kitchen was our great find at a time when we craved for Dough donut and surprisingly found it within one-mile from where we live. How could we possibly not go when it comes to Dough donut?

City Kitchen is connected to Row NYC hotel and shares the trendiness and Instagram-ready details. The interior is upbeat and takes in lots of natural light. Both its location and spaciousness win over the similar Gotham West Market 3 avenues away.

Let's not deviate away from the key point -- food selection is amazing here. We were excited to find two of our favorite in It's vendor list; one was mentioned already and another one is ilili Box that has very delicious sides (brussel sprouts and Phoenician fries).

Dough donut was awesome enough to be treated with utensils. (Still thinking about the passionfruit glaze.)

You may check out City Kitchen if you find yourself in the Hell's Kitchen and need a quick, casual meal. This food court will do the job.
