Brussels takes credit for so much food delicacy: chocolate, waffle, French fries (not French!) and even my favorite veggie -- Brussels sprouts. Hence, it's hard to summarize what's the taste of Brussels. It's pampering, it's cozy and it's just the timing when everything is right.
Speaking of timing, Jennifer's Airbnb at Brussels was a rarer find and we were lucky enough to catch it. Located in a lovely attic, the room was dustless, spacious, simple yet very Scandinavian-styled. Jennifer prepared everything for guests, even contact lens solution (literally everything you need)! We were most impressed that she provided bathroom goods from &OtherStories.
That's the core value of Airbnb, isn't it? To share your favorites with your guests, and welcome them home with something you truly love. If we were to be a host one day, we wish to be one like Jennifer.
Outside Jennifer's room is a charming terrace overlooking Brussels rooftops. This vide reminded us of the sunset barbecue parties of Brooklyn.
Good old days.
